Cottage Glen in the News
Preserving the character of
the land and fitting in with the Ellison Bay community
were essential to the developer of Cottage Glen as the plans were
developed.
Today as homes are being built, owners and visitors are impressed
that
so much of the original topography and vegetation remain.
In addition, the developer planted a prairie with native Wisconsin
wildflowers and grasses
in order to recreate what may have been on this site in years
past.

Please
note that the Site Plan for Cottage Glen was modified from the
original plan (as described in the Advocate and Exclusively Yours
articles) to reduce the total number of residences by four (4),
from 78 to 74. This change was accomplished by deleting three (3)
four-unit townhome buildings and adding four (4) two-unit buildings
- for a total of eight (8) four-unit townhome buildings and seven
(7) two-unit single-level buildings - to go with 28 free-standing
homes (one of which is the caretaker's
residence).
